Great restaurant, been going as long as I can remember. Food is fantastic, one of the best marinara sauces ive ever consumed. Great family atmosphere!

My boyfriend and I dined in here a few weeks ago. The food was delicious, and the service was wonderful. Food: We started off with pink lemonade. It was solid. We then ordered a thin sausage pizza + a stuffed pepperoni pizza. We were told wait time would be about 20-30 mins depending on the pizza. The wait time was worth it, and reasonable too. The thin pizza was pretty good. The crust wasn't burned but not soggy either. It was a flaky, crispy crust with sweet sauce. The stuffed pizza was even better in my opinion! It was so delicious. I like the little detail of the pizza having pepperonis in the crust too. It was also not burned nor soggy – just right! The dough for both the thin and stuffed pizza was fairly easy to bite into. I want to also highlight the dessert; We got cannoli. The shell was crispy and sweet. It didn't crumble but it wasn't hard either. The sweet cream filling wasn't overpowering but wasn't plain either. I like that it had some chocolate chips in there too. I didn't even know Joe's had dessert, so I really wanted to highlight this. Overall, the food was made with a great balance. It had a nice presentation too. Service: I didn't catch her name, but the waiter was patient and kind. She checked up on us here and there. Prior to getting a table, I didn't have to wait too long to be seated. This was my first time at this place, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The delivery guy Jim was welcoming too. Everyone at Joe's seemed familiar with each other in some way, adding to the comfortable service and atmosphere. Atmosphere: Like the service, it was welcoming and comfortable. Although it's a small place, it's not overcrowded as people can get by the chairs and tables easily. The room temperature was comfortable too. Overall great experience. I'm happy to revisit this place with my boyfriend:)

Definitely a decent pizza. Not my favorite, but not bad. Just a bit too heavily salted making it too salty tasting. A little less salt and maybe a semi sweeter sauce and it would be perfect. I'd also suggest opening the blinds in the restaurant area. The place reminded me of sitting in someone's basement. Kind of depressing I thought.

It was the first time we ever tried their thin crust, Chicago style pizza. It now lives in my top 10 ever in the area. We ordered a sausage, mushroom, and onion, with pepperoni added on top( they normally place it under the cheese). We did not specify doneness and let them do what they do best. The cheese was delicious and plentiful, even spilling off edges in some places causing some nice caramelized areas. The crust was cracker thin which held up well during flex test. The cheese had a nice pull and all ingredients were fresh! The sauce was delicious. Not sweet, not spicy, not sour, it was the perfect concert of all flavors. Joe's is now in my regular rotation. It is for sale, as the owner's want to retire. Get it while the getting is good

There is no better pizza in the Chicago area. Their sausage (made in house) is fantastic. Their pizza sauce is perfection. The staff is always kind and very attentive. So good that we regularly travel 50+ minutes for it!

Delicious thin crust pizza. I had sausage, green pepper, and mushrooms. Incredible. My wife ordered the fried chicken. She loved it. We will definitely be back!

It was my first time having real tavern style pizza and i was very happy with it. I was told this is what Midwesterners get to share with the homies and family and deep dish is special occasion food. It's very different but i like it. Just gotta get used to the way it's cut i guess. We had the sweetest waitress and everything came out super fast. We shared an appetizer platter and a pitcher of soda. Price was very fair and I'm excited to go back
